Has your mind ever wandered on things that cause you to become sad, depressed or hopeless? Let me bring your mind then, to mindfulness. Mindfulness is not a matter of not thinking; it allows you to notice when the mind wanders and simply guiding it back to what’s happening, now. A state of open, active attention on the present.
Today, whenever you notice your attention has drifted, resist the urge to think unkind thoughts. Instead, talk to yourself with kindness. Tell yourself, “Let me try doing it over.” “I have the power to succeed!” “Let me try a different method!” "Let me do some research because I know I will succeed!" "No weapon formed against me (your name) shall prosper!" "A greater power than man has my back!"
Adjusting your attitude reduces trepidation and empowers you to entertain and pursue new possibilities.
